This is Manny, Manny sells the Big Issue outside Morrisons in West Kirby. He’s been doing it for a while, over a year or so and over the time Sarah and I have got to know him. Its wierd but he kind of went through Sarahs pregnancy with us, turns out I think he was the first person (bar our folks) to find out Sarah was pregnant and so for 9 months, he would always stop and chat to us, offer solid pregnancy advice and ask how we were and what not, now Erins here, he’s seen the whole process and continues to talk with us for 5-10 mins before and after we go shopping and regardless of if we buy a copy or not.

Anyway I’ve been wanting to photograph him for a while, he’s one of the most friendly guys you’ll meet. If you’re in WK and see him, talk to him, its worth it. Got a few other shots of him that will make an appearance somewhere soon.
